The user client is the branded "front end" program that members use to play poker. This is downloaded, via the partners' websites, from our servers in Curacao.
Revenues
The software generates revenues via two main channels.
Rakes
A capped percentage of every pot is taken in cash game tables.
Tournament Fees
A fee is charged, corresponding to the buy-in amount, for the registration of tournaments.
The Diamond Ace User Client is Java based and fully compatible with Microsoft Windows, Apple's Mac OSX and Linux operating systems.

The Game Lister
The game lister lists all tables opened by the user, displaying balances, cards, positions in waiting lists and indicates when it is time to play. It presents key information from multiple tables and allows the user to switch easily between them.
Always At The Head
When a user chooses a seat, the table is rotated to place them at the head. This ensures the comfort of always knowing where to look on the screen and positions the user close to the game play options.
Poker Face
Members can select from a range of descriptive and fun poker faces to convey emotions at any time during game play.
Game and Tournament Creation
Members are empowered with the ability to create any type of game or tournament that they wish to play, selecting their preferred poker variation, money levels, limit types and table size.
These games and tournaments can also be password protected for privately arranged events. This ensures that players do not have to wait to play at their desired table and that the site can never be full.
Contacts
The software includes a contacts system to locate friends or invite them to tables. If the contacts are offline, they will be sent an e-mail invitation.
Game Filters
In a busy poker room, finding the right game can be hard for users. The Game Filters make this process easy by reducing the table and tournament lists to only those that match the desired selections. These preferences are remembered between sessions, so users are always shown their favourite games when they return. In addition to this, a simple colour coding system indicates full tables, empty tables and playing tables with available seats.
Quick Mode
To make finding a game easier for players that are new to online poker, the User Client presents a simplified interface when it is first loaded. Users choose their game type and the average bets they feel comfortable with, and the software will find a game for them. More experienced users can switch to a traditional 'lobby' view if they prefer.
Safety Features
The Diamond Ace software is committed to responsible gaming and has a selection of features built in to allow the users to set personal controls. These include breaks after extended play, voluntary exclusion, a buddy system where a second password is required for chips purchases and optional monthly buy-in limits.
Best Hand Definition
The Best Hand feature tells you not only what your current best hand is, but if you fold, what you would have been dealt had you stayed in (where appropriate).
Refer A Friend
The Referral system offers members a percentage of rake revenues generated by each of the friends that they refer. This reward is a permanent one and can be extremely lucrative.
Members can easily track their referrals in the accounts window, where they can see a list of all their referred members and how much money they have earned from each of them.
Feedback
All members have a direct route to offer feedback to the development team. The feedback function takes a snapshot of their software at the time of submission to help the developers understand the position from where the feedback was conceived.
Perfect Compatibility
Unlike many other poker rooms, the Diamond Ace software is seamlessly compatible with all major operating systems offering a significant advantage to partners especially in the expanding Apple and Linux markets where users are currently under-catered for.
Security
All communications with the server, banking partners and individual are securely encrypted with the latest SSLv3/TLS technologies.
Multi Lingual
The Diamond Ace software is currently available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with further languages expected shortly including Russian, French, Greek, Italian, German and Turkish.

Diamond Ace can provide an integrated forum for users to communicate about poker issues. Users are given a 'Poker Diary', where they can write poker related journals of their play within the site, directly from within the User Client.

Affiliate Web Pages
The affiliate system is a tool for site partners to help them promote their branded poker site. Affiliates are employed by the partner promoters to promote the site in return for a fixed percentage of the revenues generated from the new members brought in. The Affiliate webpage enable these affiliates to track their success and their earnings as well as acting as a repository for useful data and conditions to help them with their own promotional activities.
The Poker Server
The Poker server is a Java based system. It supports multiple clients and manages all games, tournaments, rules and logic. It includes the bespoke random number generating system developed to ensure total fairness of all random activities including shuffling within the sites.
Self Updating System
The self updating system allows enhancements to be automatically downloaded and installed as soon as they become available.
Backup System
All data is covered by regular backups and audit trails by server.
Auditing System
The auditing system creates full and detailed logs of user actions.
Archiving System
The archiving system is a Java and Perl based program developed to archive all important data.
